I always start with a VALD assessment. Strength, power, asymmetries, body composition. A snapshot of the athlete at this exact moment.
Mobility first. Movement quality before load. We correct the asymmetries revealed in the assessment before pushing intensity.
Once a consistent training routine is in place, I periodize (taking into account the competitive schedule on court). The goal: peak performance by the time playoffs arrive.
