All the questions I get regularly. If you do not find your answer here, you can reach me through the contact form.
BVY is designed for basketball athletes between 14 and 25 years old looking to reach the next level.
On VALD numbers: between 4 and 8 weeks to see a measurable gain on the CMJ (counter-movement jump). In terms of feel on the court: usually earlier, around 3-4 weeks, because coordination and movement quality progress quickly.
Feel free to read the testimonials from my athletes, who are best placed to speak to this.
I limit individualized follow-up to 6 athletes simultaneously, not to create artificial scarcity, but so that each program is truly personalized and each follow-up is taken seriously. If the list is full when you reach out, I will tell you honestly and we will look at another option together.
We adapt. Injury is part of athletic life: a well-designed program knows how to work around it. Depending on the area and severity: we isolate, work the unaffected zones, and support recovery. If needed, I will refer you to the right physiotherapist or doctor I work with in Quebec and Ontario.
What we do not do: pretend the injury does not exist and carry on as before.
I offer several options:
Full VALD assessment · 70 $ (one-time): the initial evaluation on the ForceDecks and Dynamo+ platforms, with a PDF report included.
In-person session · 45 $: one hour of supervised training by appointment in Quebec or Ontario.
BVY app follow-up · 75 $ / month: your personalized program delivered, execution videos, adjustments after each assessment, support for your shoot sessions, tracking of your VALD progression and shoot percentage throughout your career. All in your pocket.
Bonus: BVY app subscribers will get -10% on the entire BVY shop (coming soon).
In-person by appointment in Quebec and Ontario. VALD assessments and in-person sessions are scheduled by message based on your location and calendar. Ongoing follow-up is done via the BVY app, wherever you are.
For remote follow-up: yes, no problem. The program is delivered with execution videos. You can work from home or in any gym.
For the initial VALD assessment: it is strongly recommended to come in person for the tests (it is the best starting point for building a serious program).
Contact me by email or on Instagram and we will schedule it together.
For one-off interventions (speaking engagement, workshop, team physical audit via VALD tests), yes: schools can contact me here for a quote. For regular individual follow-up, if the club or school allows me to train on site, I can travel depending on the location.
VALD is an Australian provider of physical performance measurement platforms. Used by NBA franchises, Olympic federations and professional rugby clubs. During in-person assessments, I use the following tools:
ForceDecks · force platforms for jumps (CMJ, Drop Jump, IMTP, etc.).
Dynamo+ · digital dynamometer for asymmetries.
Yes. Each VALD assessment produces a PDF report of your results, which you receive by email. The numbers remain yours, even if you stop working with BVY.
